FINAL REFLECTION

Through the long nights and busy days senior thesis has tested my intellect and resilience greatly.  But having finished it I wouldn’t have had it any other way.  Senior thesis helps simulate what a real working environment will be like.  A place where you are not told exactly what to do and need to be heavily self-reliant on how to do things along with when they need done.  With the guidance of my advisors I have learned more through this course then I ever could have imagined and have a much greater understanding of structural engineering as a whole.  With the need to complete breadths in options other than my own I was able to more deeply learn about whole building system integration.  After completing this yearlong thesis I feel exponentially more ready to enter the workforce and be an asset right away.
